Valves for the North American market manufactured to Chlorine Institute P-17 performance requirements. Fusible plug complies with CGA S.1.1.

Chlorine and sulphuryl fluoride valves also available in alternate 3/4" bore design. The design meets CI valve performance criteria but has a significantly thicker wall section at the packing nut thread area but packing nut, stem and valve external dimensions identical to the standard valve design.

Lubricant on stem threads area ensures good service life and ease of operation.

Spindle hardness at the shank is kept above 90 points on Rockwell B scale to offer resistance against twisting of the stem square upto a torque of 80-85 ft-pound. (Against CI maximum allowable torque of 40 ft-pound).
