What is an implant? A relatively new technology , an implant is a titanium alloy screw which is implanted within the bone. The implant comes closest in mimicking the natural root structure of a tooth. Once it is assimilated by the surrounding bone , the implant is loaded with a natural looking ceramic crown that mimics the body of a tooth. It has all the strength of a natural tooth, aethetically perfect, technically minimally invasive ( in most cases a flapless "key-hole" surgery under local anesthesia ) and definitely a long time performer!
